Have dessert on the table in a matter of minutes with these microwave chocolate self-saucing puddings.

Ingredients

Pudding (per pudding)

1 tablespoon self-raising flour

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

½ tablespoon caster sugar

2 tablespoons milk

Sauce (per pudding)

½ tablespoon cocoa

½ tablespoon brown sugar

2 tablespoons boiling water

Ice cream and fresh strawberries to serve

Instructions

  1. In a tea cup, mix pudding ingredients together very well
  2. To make the sauce, sprinkle cocoa and brown sugar over the batter, then pour the boiling water over the mixture carefully
  3. Microwave each pudding on High for 40 seconds and then give it another 10-20 second burst (the pudding should be cooked through and look lumpy and gnarly.
  4. Serve with ice cream and fresh strawberries

Notes

  1. Ingredients listed make one individual pudding. To make more than one, multiple quantities accordingly
  2. You can cook multiple puddings at once, you might have to adjust the cooking time slightly.
